I have definitely meant for these themes to be open for interpretation and creativity. This video doesn’t necessarily show my guilty pleasures (I tried to think of good ones, but I just don’t really have any good ones) but it does show some pleasures that I am guilty of… This week was tough for getting good ideas, but this will still get some chuckles I hope.
Vloggin’ Vednesday “Q & A Day”
Let me start off this Vloggin’ Vednesday with a warning… my video this week just may be the most ridiculous thing you have ever seen. It was a BLAST making it, Rach and I were pretty much Dying the whole time we were filming and editing. I hope you have fun watching it. I have to say thanks to my wife for helping me with this ridiculous idea, you are such a good sport hun, I Love You. I don’t know how I turned such a beautiful woman into a pencil neck geek. Don’t forget to link your Vlogs below… and then scroll down a little further to vote for me : ) Also, if you are interested, I posted up some funny outtakes (featuring one of our loud cats) … but they are for AFTER the real video.
Vloggin’ Vednesday “Rooms in Your Home”
Vlogging Vednesday? or Vliggity Vlog?
This morning I received an email from Chelsey (the paper mama ) about getting a bunch of bloggers together to do corresponding Vlogs. It was pretty short notice for me, but it sounded like too much fun to pass up the challenge. Well, I sit here now 3:30am, and I just uploaded the video. After much editing and reshooting in between cooking dinner and changing diapers, I think it turned out OK. There was discussion of continuing this, I think it would be fun.. What do YOU think?

A Day in the Life Vlog 2/27/11
This is a little video that we put together today.
Now that Addy is starting to interact more and more with me, I am really hamming it up for her. I will do anything to get a laugh from her. This video shows some chuckles that I got from her, I will spare myself the embarrassment of showing the ends I go to to get them. Let me tell you, sometimes I will stop in the middle, shake my head at myself, look over at my wife and get a confused look. Well, at least Adeline gets my humor.
This video was taken by my friend at what may very well be my last time playing live music. (at least for a LONG time). I haven’t been playing much recently anyway, but this was a special reunion show for our Summer Party at the shop. We hadn’t played together for about 6 or 7 years. It was a fun time, silly string was flying, some kids in weird creepy masks, reggae hype horns, all around fun times. Mommy and Adeline were there. I did bring a tempur-pedic pillow for her to hold over her belly so the raukus music wouldn’t be too loud for Addy. To most, this vid may seem a little loud and crazy, but, what this band was about (friends, fun times, positivity, thoughtfulness) will continue in my soft natured caring for my baby. Even though it seems that I am turning a new page in my life, it is probably more of a redirect and continuation. I won’t forget all of those times, I will carry them with me on my new journey.
I remember about 3 months ago, My wife and I were talking about feeling the baby kick. “will we feel it?” “what will it feel like?” “how will we know it’s her and not just your stomach growling?” Fast forward to now, I can actually SEE the kicking. Seriously, her belly takes on all sorts of shapes and sizes with little feet, hands (head and butt I think too). I feel bad for her. I thought that a veggie chicken nugget burrito with cheese fries made my tummy feel funny, well, that burrito doesn’t weight almost 6 pounds, have arms and legs, and kick like David Beckham. Sometimes I think that she is playing with me, I push or tap on a certain area of Rach’s belly and she kicks around that area, I’m probably not helping the comfort situation much… Sorry hun.
